The Prohibition speakeasy: Positively 4th Street

The Prohibition speakeasy: Positively 4th Street

Updated: this bar has now closed down

Situated five minutes from Warren Street Tube station, Positively 4th Street takes you back to the old Prohibition days of Thirties America. Heavily influenced by Art Deco with a subtle touch of Japanese culture, this bar offers a refreshing alternative to other central London venues.

An impressive 35ft long Art Deco bar sets the scene while the rest of the room is decked out in Japanese bar stools, red leather banquettes and mushroom puff stools up against a backdrop of Twenties-style  mirrors and windows. The extensive cocktail menu features everything from classic Manhattans to modern mixers while hungry party goers can fill up on grilled chicken and salads.
