Stoke Newington newcomer: Little Pad

Update: this shop has now closed down.

You could easily walk past the Little Pad vintage shop – it’s all the way down in the basement of Church Street record shop Lucky Seven Records. However we urge you that you do climb down the stairs cause this tiny one-room store won’t disappoint you.

There’s a surprisingly large amount of stock, covering womenswear, menswear, some kids clothes and home deco items as well as kitchenalia. Ranging predominantly from the late Fifties to the Eighties, you can find anything from Seventies trainers to Sixties mod dresses and psychedelic tea pots. Prices are excellent for London, you will rarely have to spend more than £50 on anything. A delight to browse.

  1. Cleff Stokey

This vintage clothing place was never open and are no longer trading. I understand they conned the record shop owner and striped all the electrics and locks when they left…..Really glad they’re not trading anymore.

Who needs people like that…it’s seems hard enough for local traders to build up custom let alone have someone ruin the reputation of small business..Definitely not a loss!
