The Slow Drag Blues Dance

The Slow Drag Blues Dance

Head to London’s first ever slow dance blues club night,The Slow Drag Blues Dance, when it opens its doors for the first time.
Held in the plush surrounds of The Private Room, below The Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch, here exists a secluded spot to get close with someone you fancy, sway and, if the mood takes you, grind away to feverish mid-century rhythms – steamy blues, smokey jazz, sexy soul and sleazy rock’n’roll.

Providing the soundtrack, straight from the dusty grooves of original 45rpm vinyl records, will be three of London’s finest slow-song selectors: DJ DIDDY WAH – NTS Radio regular, COLONEL SPENCER – MFC Chicken’s sax man, and Rhythm & Blues singing sensation – SISTER COOKIE.
