Proud’s NYE Cirque

Launching on NYE, cabaret club Proud will be running a series of pop-up weekend club nights throughout 2011. The New Year’s Eve extravaganza – Cirque – will include performances by aerialists, fire-breathers, magicians, professional dancers, stilt walkers, angle grinders, trapeze artists, tattooed snake-charming models and more who’ll perform onstage and on the bars, while circus troupes get stunt-tastic and the top floor becomes a Vegas palace.

To make things even easier, Proud will provide their own transport system with Routemaster Buses running every 10 minutes so guests can party until the early hours with no worries. Those who seek an even more stylish means of transport will be well advised to see the New Year off in true Rat Pack style and make a table booking, where limousine transport from door to door is all part of the service.

This looks like a great night out if you want big, showy Vegas-style entertainment but because of its location (The O2), it might potentially lack the exclusivity and vintage-ness of other vintage-style NYE parties around.

Tickets: from £22
