The National Portrait Gallery celebrates the centenary of Vivien Leigh’s birth with a small photographic display which coincides with the 75th anniversary of Gone With The Wind (1939).

Vivien Leigh was awarded her first Oscar Leigh for Gone With The Wind after which followed a glittering career on stage and screen, before winning her second Oscar for her role as Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire.
