Carmen Haid:My name is Carmen Haid, and I am the founder of vintage boutique Atelier-Mayer.com, a vintage heaven on your finger tips.
The Vintage Guide to London: Why do you like vintage – or in other words, what does vintage mean to you?
Carmen Haid: I love vintage because it is injecting worn garments and accessories with new life again. It’s also sustainable and environment friendly because the product exists already and doesn’t need to be produced again.
What are your favourite London vintage shops?
The Vintage Guide to London: Do you ever go to vintage events? If so, which ones would you recommend?
Carmen Haid: I go to fairs such as Discover Vintage, markets – I love Kempton Court -, auctions and anything that sounds inspiring.
