It's the London Tweed Run

It’s the London Tweed Run

Watch the Tweed Run, London’s biggest sartorial cycling spectacle. Expect tweed-clad ladies and gents riding their pashleys while puffing on their pipes.

The Tweed Run is a truly unique and exquisitely British public bicycle ride through London’s historic streets, with a prerequisite that participants are dressed in their best tweed cycling attire.

This year’s scenic 12-mile route will begin in Clerkenwell with breaks at some of the city’s finest landmarks and hidden gems.

Guests can order a traditionally British hamper for the break or start the day with a Tweed Run Brunch, hosted by Bourne & Hollingsworth. The ride finishes off at Russell Square, where participants are offered a cocktail and entertainment in the form of live music and dancers.

  2. Judith Bonner

Hi some great tweeds for discerning folk can be had from from cyclist and long time Herne hill velodrome coach – Brixton CC’s Judith.

She has some fine Harris tweeds, whole suits for the ladies , gloves, hats, bags and even some original unworn wool cycling shorts. She needs to off load them as her new place is small. All affordable, clean and moth free.Oh and super ties and scarves too.
