Kings of Silent Comedy: Sherlock Jr + The Champion

Film Funday & LoCo present a double bill of slapstick comedy classics from Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin at the BFI.

Sherlock Jr (1924) With live piano accompaniment by John Sweeney.
Buster Keaton dreams of being a great detective. Wrongly accused of stealing his potential father-in-law’s watch, he dreams about solving the crime. One of the all-time great comedy films.

The Champion (1915) With live piano accompaniment by John Sweeney.
Charlie stumbles upon the corrupt world of boxing and plenty of slapstick fun ensues.
