Hedonism rocks at The Candlelight Club

Hedonism rocks at The Candlelight Club

New Year’s Resolutions are all very well, but Twenties night Candlelight Club is here to help beat the January blues with a menu of bespoke cocktails to ease you back into your old hedonistic ways.

Had plans to give up the fags? Baby steps! Try one of the Roll Up the Barrel cocktails, made with genuine tobacco liqueur. Vowed to turn your back on chocolate? Easy does it—giving it up suddenly could give you the bends. Instead take it easy with the Girl’s Best Friend cocktail, delivering a safe dose in a neutral vodka and absinthe medium. And if you really must drink detoxing carrot juice and ginger, at least render them safe to consume with the spike of rum in the Detox Schmetox preparation.

To take your mind off the horror, there will be dancing to Twenties ragtime and swing music from the Dixie Ticklers, plus vintage DJing from Auntie Maureen on Friday and Magdalena on Saturday.

The kitchen will be open all night with an à la carte menu.

To make it an extra special night, why not treat yourself to a professional vintage styling session in your home with Lipstick & Curls? They are offering Candlelight Club customers a 10% discount on their “Takeaway” mobile beauty parlour. To make a booking email info@lipstickandcurls.net.
