Handpicked vintage: This Shop Rocks

Handpicked vintage: This Shop Rocks

Naming your vintage store This Shop Rocks could easily backfire. Luckily, Timonthy Sanderson’s Brick Lane shop does live up to its name.

With its hand-picked, high-end women’s vintage clothing and accessories from the 1900s to the Fifties, This Shop Rocks is surely one of the highlights amongst Brick Lanes ever growing vintage outlets.

Rare Twenties daywear, Thirties dress slips, Forties skirt suits, Fifties hats and even the odd early Sixties dress can be found here together with bullet bras, fur coats, prom dresses and an exquisite collection of handbags and jewellery. Expect to pay – depending on decade – around £100 for a dress here, a good price for the often mint quality and excellent pre-selection. This Shop Rocks is a must stop for anyone looking for a special occasion outfit, but the artistic and utterly enticing window displays are often well worth the trip alone.
