For your vintage afternoon tea needs: Soho's Secret Tea Room

For your vintage afternoon tea needs: Soho’s Secret Tea Room

Entering Soho’s Secret Tea Room above the famous Coach & Horses pub is like stepping into a  timecapsule from the Thirties.

The carefully selected vintage furnishings and Noel Coward on the gramophone help to give this little cafe an authentic vintage feel while still being welcoming and warm. Thankfully, this isn’t a hipster hang-out but well, exactly what it sets out to be, an old-fashioned British tea room.

The  selection of sumptuous old-fashioned cakes and sandwiches  – all home made – are seriously delicious (we loved the Victoria sponge cake) and there is a also huge variety of teas on offer. Best of all indulging yourself won’t cost you a fortune with prices starting at around £2 per cake.
