Dita von Teese opens a pop-up speakeasy in London

Dita von Teese has unveiled  a a pop-up  speakeasy bar in London’s Pigalle Club. The bar will be  opening on November 29 and is  inspired by the burlesque dancer’s own home in LA.

The bar, open for a three-week period, will be decorated using Von Teese’s personal items, including costumes covered in Swarovski crystals. Drinks will come in the form of expertly-made cocktails, crafted by professional mixologists.

“It’ll be glamorous and sexy. I hope people will have a great night out there,” Dita said. “My favourite bars are the Fumoir in Claridge’s and Le Bar Hemingway at The Ritz in Paris. Bars should have a luxurious feel to them, they should be cosy with a story behind them – a little bit of history. I hope my bar will be as special.”
