Who's the dandiest of them all? It's the Chap of the Year Contest

Following several rounds of internet voting to determine the finalists, the creators of The Chap Magazine bring you the eagerly awaited final heat of Chap of the Year. In true Chap style, the event will be a stylish soiree doused in cocktails and peppered with live musical entertainment and witty repartee.

The competition is open to both Chaps and Chapettes and the disciplines will include Sartorial Flair, Etiquette and Seduction. Each category will be judged by an expert in their field: William Smith will use his tape measure and “rock of eye” to assess the candidates’ sartorial credentials; Michael “Atters” Attree will inspect their grooming techniques from his barber’s chair, with emphasis on facial hair; Fleur de Geurre will put the competitors through their wooing paces at her cocktail bar.

The winner will receive a bespoke suit from Cad and the Dandy, while the two runners-up will each receive a bespoke shirt from the same company.

The Grand Hall is an authentic Thirties ballroom in the heart of London, opposite St Pancras Railway Station. The contest will take place between 8 and 10pm, after which there will be live music from the Kings Cross Hot Club, cocktails from Bourne and Hollingsworth and our Jeeves Dating service with Mr. Bell the Butler and a brace of secretaries.
