Coming to London: Carters Steam Fair - the vintage travelling funfair

carters steam fair

Carters Steam Fair is renowned for being Europe’s premier vintage travelling funfair, bringing the thrills and delights of the traditional fairground to London.

The Carter family are passionate about keeping these rides working and giving people the chance to experience them firsthand. This isn’t a museum, it’s a living, breathing funfair, and it delivers all the excitement and atmosphere that a visit to the fair should – from the thrill of the Skid to the buzz of the Dodgem track, the twinkling lights and the exuberant colour, all punctuated with the chime of the Striker bell, the unmistakeable trill of the steam organ, and plentiful candyfloss.

Expect thrills like the adrenaline-fuelled ride in the Dive Bomber or the Wall of Death.
