Classic cinema at Curzon this summer
Head to Curzon cinema’s this summer to watch cinematic classics from the 50s to the 80s.
The Sixties are celebrated with classics Quadrophenia and Easy Rider.
There is a whole weekend special on Jazz: from the 1950s through to the 1960s, countless directors worked with jazz greats to achieve their moody vision of the world, from Martial Solal (Breathless, Shoot the Pianist) and Miles Davis (Lift to the Scaffold) to Charles Mingus (Shadows). Over the weekend the film programme will be integrated with bespoke soundtrack in the Bloomsbury cafe, talks and much more.
And don’t miss out on a Charlie Chaplin special.
