During the four-hour class you will learn how to alter a pattern, sew and finish your dress using couture techniques and how wear it with style. You will also have your own pattern to take away with you so that you can make lots more.
Lindsay Rodham, aka The Lady That Does, provides a personal alteration and repair service specialising in vintage clothing. Based in Walthamstow, East London, Lindsay’s clients come to her for a cup of tea and to discuss in detail how they’d like their garments fixed and changed. If Walthamstow is a tad too far you, can also drop off your vintage at the regular Clerkenwell Vintage Fair, where Lindsay is the resident clothes doctor.
