Cafe-cum-shop: Finsbury Park’s Cafe Vintage

Finsbury Park’s  Cafe Vintage has fast become a neighbourhood hot spot for local residents and passers-by alike.

With its vintage-inspired interior and delicious food and drinks – think home-made cakes, artisan breads,  freshly made pies and sandwiches, fantastic coffees – this little cafe is a great alternative to the uniform boredom of your regular chain coffee shops

Sisters Aysha and Nadia, who set up shop in November 2010, run the place with oodles of charm and passion. It shows, you really do feel looked after and welcome there.

Best of all, there is a small vintage boutique in the back room choc-a-bloc full of carefully selected vintage clothing from the Forties to the Eighties. The prices are excellent too, so a rummage is a definite must.
