The Broken Hearts DJs present: Peppermint Candy Christmas

This is no ordinary swing event and it’s certainly not your average Christmas party!  Get ready to move those happy feet as the Broken Hearts return to host Peppermint Candy Swing Christmas. Arrive rebelliously on time at 9pm to get your hands on one of the fifty Tatty Devine goody bags with signature moustache and magpie rings before hitting first orders for the one-and-only Peppermint Candy cocktails and browsing through the special pop-up vintage shop established especially for the night on the ground floor.

Catch performances from The Bobby McGee’s and Marawa the Amazing, before witnessing a historic moment as headliners The Real Tuesday Weld perform tracks they created for this summer’s hit game LA Noire, for the first time, anywhere in the world, including Me and Mr Wolf – a twisted tale of Little Red riding Hood set in the world of 1Forties LA, complete with a never before seen animation.

As the bands finish their encores, join all the hepcats and swing queens on the dancefloor as London Swing Society’s Simon Selmon, Mouthful O’ Jam’s Paul Golledge and Jazz FM’s very own Broken Hearts DJs play the very best in lindyhop and swing, balboa and jive.

Friday 2nd December 2011.
