Blitz Party New Year's Eve Special

Blitz Party New Year’s Eve Special

Pin up your victory rolls and wave your Union Jack with pride, dust off your stripes and polish your medals. Turn out that light and pile into the shelter for the Blitz New Year’s Eve Special.

This year’s venue will be transformed into a wartime air shelter, complete with a warren of six rooms. Including a swing dance hall, two live music stages, and a bunker complete with sandbags, searchlights, blackout curtains, oil lamps and military bunk beds. Ration books will replace bar menus and scarce provisions will line the walls.

The evening will host the UK’s finest live swing bands, performers and DJs. Big band tunes will play for fun-loving party girls who long to share a Gin French cocktail with a handsome man in uniform. The dedicated Spitfire Bar will quench the thirst of soldiers with hearty British ale and champagne. There will be plenty of war time snacks on hand to keep those jitterbugs going. Another room will project original newsreels and wartime films, accompanied by live music, for a touch of that wartime authenticity.
