Head to London Transport Museum’s open day at their Depot in Acton to view their huge collection of posters, drawings and vintage road and rail vehicles.

– curator talks about London’s buses during the First World War
– filmed interviews featuring people who experience the First World War
– archive film footage of buses through the ages
– vintage motorcycles from the London Motorcycle Museum
– sing along to a selection of vintage music hall favourites – singer Patricia Hammond performs, with Matt Redmond on guitar and banjo. (Saturday 13 September only)
– crafting and story telling for kids
