A Century of Cinema: 1980s – free screening of E.T.

As part of their A Century in Cinema series, East Finchley’s Phoenix Cinema will be recreating the cinema going experience of the Eighties with a free screening of E.T.

Are you a child of the Eighties? This screening either lets you relive your childhood or gain an insight into life growing up under Prime Minister and Local MP Margaret Thatcher. So put on a roll neck and some high-waisted jeans, put your best Reebok hi-top foot forward and get down here!

‘A Century of Cinema’ is a series of 10 monthly free screenings. Each screening will represent a decade the cinema has been in operation, with old feature films, adverts and trailers. All screenings will be introduced by a film expert.

1980s – Sunday 17 April 2011, 2pm

FREE screening. Booking is essential. Please call the box office to reserve your seat.

To book call the Box Office on 020 8444 6789.
