A Camden Lock classic: Berty & Gerty
Berty & Gerty started life amid the rough and tumble of London’s Brick Lane Market as a Sunday morning vintage stall in 2002. After attracting a cult following amongst the East End crowd of young artists and fashion students, the stall transferred full time to the rock and roll environment of the Camden Lock Market – where it remains one of the few vintage shops worth going to.
With an emphasis on all things quirky and cool, the little shop is crammed full of vintage clothes and accessories mostly from the Fifties to the Eighties. The shoe section with its huge choice of boots is especially worth a look. Good for an on-trend bargain.
